The Goos were born out of creative ideas that took a life of their own. As all ideas, they took on different forms, characteristics and each serve a different purpose with their own unique talents and abilities. These specific Goos came together for one creative purpose: to design. Separate, they manage and do well with their own respective specialties. However, together with all their talents combined, they become an ultimate team and tackle any and all creative projects thrown their way. The Goos are definitely an essential part of Gustavo Creative. While their main purpose is to design, life isn’t just all about work for them. Get to know a bit more about each Goo below. These Goos are a prime example of how everything starts from something.
Cool, calm and collected. Zed is the leader of the group and serves as the creative director. He believes that “no idea is a bad idea” and listens to all the input given by the rest of the team. Zed is often approached for advice, both professional and personal. He is a very loyal and dedicated worker, which also translates to his characteristics as a friend. Zed is usually accompanied by his loving pup, which he also brings to work often.
Everyone sees Lowell as a worry wart. Being an overthinker, he tends to overcheck his and his peers’ projects compulsively to make sure everything is as perfect as possible. Lowell specializes in branding and logo design. He lives by color theory and repeatedly likes to give lessons about it to the rest of the group. In his spare time, he enjoys reading and watching anything educational. Lowell currently holds the record of never missing a day of work.
The tech wizard. Stu is the awkward but funny one of the bunch. While he does have a great sense of humor and doesn’t take himself too seriously, he takes his creations and work very seriously. Stu is in charge of all web and digital projects. A real team player, who loves to work with others and can easily get along with anyone (even Able). In his spare time, he enjoys taking apart and rebuilding computers and spends a lot of time playing video games.
The most detailed-oriented of the team. Jeanne serves as the illustrator, being the most artistic and crafty of the Goos. Artistically, she is very versatile in all art mediums, both traditionally and digital. Jeanne is also the most athletic of the group, holding the record of most arm wrestling wins in the office. Jeanne is usually accompanied by her cat, who surprisingly is best friends with Zed’s dog.
The grump of the group. Despite his bad attitude, he takes his work very seriously. Able never misses a deadline and isn’t afraid to put anyone who is slacking in check. Able is in charge of anything dealing with video, photography and animation. If anything needs fixing, Able is the first to jump in and get the job done. In his spare time, he enjoys watching classic films. He usually does this alone because he can’t stand people talking during a movie.
