The Pima County Health Department decided to launch a campaign in response to the COVID-19 spread and the reopening of businesses. The County is dedicated to protecting public health and has adopted a set of minimum protective health and safety measures for restaurants, bars, fitness centers, and hotel and resort pools to follow. Participating businesses have pledged to adhere to these guidelines and are certified for compliance by the Pima County Health Department. An emblem was created, in both English and Spanish, to display at businesses that are complying with the minimum COVID-19 safety guidelines required by the Pima County Health Department. Along with the emblem, a series of television spots were released and other collateral such as billboards, bus advertising, and social media posts were created.
